I have a 2210 on order and am in need some info. I have a government tender to place and need to know approx how many gall of guel it will burn an hour. also, how large of a three point finishing mower will it handle? thanks

I seem to be getting 6-7 hours per 5 gallons of diesel. I have never measured it exactly, though. I'd say probably a little closer to 6 than 7, running at 2900 RPM and mowing with 62" MMM and wheel weights. I have over 100 hrs on my 2210, with no major complaints other than the lack of a temperature gauge. ....

A 2210 is recommended for a 48" 3 point finish mower, but can handle a 60" as well. If it quite thick you may bog down a bit. A general rule of thumb to use is 4.5hp per 12" of finish mower ....
